Thermal Images

Images taken at FSHW’s Medical Thermography studio are captured by a FLIR A500 thermal imaging camera and evaluated with TotalVision software by a certified thermography technician.

Interpreting physicians are trained in pattern recognition and can identify potential risks through evaluation of the inflammation patterns that are present in the images. Symmetry is one of thermography’s biggest pillars. Many body systems and functions can be evaluated and monitored with thermography. Breast health is a common use of thermography, but it can also be used to evaluate autoimmune conditions, chronic pain, joint inflammation, sports injuries, subluxation, chronic headaches, neck issues, dental problems, pregnancy, breast duct conditions, collapsed arches, breast implant illness, overuse of the hands/fingers, cardiovascular issues, lymphatic congestion, skin conditions, sinus infections, and a myriad of other issues.
