  • Thermography is 100% radiation-free and non-invasive. FSHW’s practice and camera are FDA-approved. There are no negative side effects whatsoever associated with using thermal technology.

  • Absolutely not. Thermography is TOUCH FREE. The camera is simply measuring the heat on the surface of your body.

  • FSHW will usually email your images and report to you within 3 business days of your imaging appointment. Some months are busier than other, but you should expect results within a week.

  • Sessions range from $75 - $400, depending on the service rendered. Please see my pricing page for a more detailed menu of my services and offerings.

  • FSHW’s custom-designed thermal imaging studio is located in Matthews, NC, about 10 minutes east of Southpark, 25 minutes south of Concord, and about 20 minutes from Uptown Charlotte.

  • Unfortunately, insurances are not yet recognizing thermography as a billable service. FSHW’s services are typically out-of-pocket, but there are some state and national grant programs that provide funds for breast health screening. I am happy to look into these grants for you if it helps!

  • This is the number one question asked in thermography. And I love the answer: we work to change it.

Getting a finding in thermography can be like getting a second chance - you have the capability of identifying inflammatory patterns before more serious implications have time to form.

Finding something in thermography means that you’ll have to take a look at your lifestyle and be open to making some changes. Factors such as stress, diet, sleep, emotions, and exercise are the most common and most effective ways to manage inflammatory patterns that are visible in thermal imaging.

FSHW is a one-stop shop for your health: have your images taken, and do a health coaching consultation with me to determine where changes can be made to improve your health. Part of my program involves muscle testing for different conditions and using herbs specific to your body to help you cleanse and heal. When we re-image in 3-6 months after your protocol, you will see the results in the images.

I am well-connected with highly qualified practitioners in the area who can work on most of the common ailments that present in thermography, so the appropriate referrals will be made to help get you on the path to improvement as effectively as possible.

It’s much better to know and be able to do something. Don’t let this stop you from choosing to image!

  • Thermography can be used to help understand cases of mastitis or clogged ducts while nursing; in thermal images, one can see if there is an infection that is forming before physical symptoms present, so mastitis can potentially be addressed before it becomes problematic.

However, it is ideal to wait 3-6 months after nursing to take thermal images that will establish baseline health.
